Sick Baby Sky :(

The weather in the East Bay is just horrible. It goes up in the 80's one day, and then the next, it'll be in the low 60's. Also, to add to that, a bug has been going around and my baby girl and I are infected :( It's one of the worst things that could happen. Not only is she extra fussy because she isn't feeling well, but I can't even comfort or hold her because of my sickness. I also feel extra bad that I can't help out my partner with the night feedings. I just want us to get better.

Sky was sick once before, but not this bad. Her pediatrician advised us to give her Infant Tylenol, so we've been giving her that every night before she goes to bed. We make sure she's dressed appropriately with a long-sleeved pajama-type onesie and have set a humidifier in her room to help with her congestion. Occasionally, we use the snot sucker to get as much mucus as possible, so she's a bit more comfortable.

Hopefully we get better soon. I just want to hold her again. It sucks not being able to do anything. We bring her to her pediatrician tomorrow, so hopefully they tell us she's okay that way we have that reassurance.
